Vineyard Notes: This wine is a blend of grapes from Heringer Vineyards in Clarksburg & Vallejo Vineyard in Wilton. 

Cellar Notes: The wines were vinified separately, but similarly. They were destemmed to macrobin for maceration & then inoculated for fermentation with oak chips. After finishing fermentation, the wines were pressed & racked to neutral oak barrels for 10 months of aging. The wines were then racked & blended together to create this wine.

Tasting Notes: A pleasing, fruit-forward red with ripe cherry & dried basil notes on the nose, maturing to blackberry in the mouth. Nice smooth tannins carry the fruits to the finish, with the herbal notes changing to fresh thyme atop a nice earthy foundation.
