More canned wine!  Rev's first sparkling Rose in a can!

Rosé in the USA Can, one can is 250mL (8 oz), California AVA

Varieties: 42% Carignane / 32% Syrah / 26% Gewurztraminer

Cellar Notes: This cofermentation was initially put together to be part of the 2022 Coco. We used most of it for that blend, but held back 1 barrel to make into a canned sparkling rose! The blend began with some Carignane juice & Syrah juice that was pressed for rosé.  These two lightly colored juices were blended together with Gewurztraminer grape clusters & cofermented in bin like a red wine. The wine was then put into neutral oak barrels until it was carbonated & canned in June 2023 by Tank Space in Sacramento. 

Tasting Notes: The Gewurztraminer definitely comes through in the aroma, with a heavy perfumed floral aspect that is heightened by the carbonation. The palate speaks more traditionally of rosé, however, with gracious raspberry, blackberry & mint notes.
