Vineyard Notes: The Walkers have been growing grapes in El Dorado County since the 1930’s. Their 220 acre property, sitting at 2100 ft of elevation, is planted to Riesling, Chardonnay, Barbera & Petite Sirah. The vineyard soil is a coarse loam with lots of sand.

Cellar Notes: Three tons hand harvested and destemmed to bins for fermentation.

Tasting Notes: This Barbera comes alive with a touch more depth than the 2022, as well as plenty of acid. The aromatics are ripe red berries & violets, with a small amount of spice. In the palate, the acid races through the mouth with raspberry, anise, & cardamom.
