Vineyard Notes: Fields Family Vineyard was the 1st certified organic vineyard in the Lodi appellation. They have about 10 acres of Syrah, and a few other varieties, all planted around 1990. The vineyard is just west of 99, just south of Acampo.

Cellar Notes: 2.5 tons of fruit, lightly pressed whole cluster to produce the color we like. Native fermentation in stainless steel lasted 9 days. Then bottled unfiltered in February with a small amount of Valdiguié to cut the acid a touch.

Tasting Notes: Cherry, strawberry, peach nectar, rose perfume, vanilla, honey, cranberry, orange blossom, jujube, electric acid, mint, pepper.
