Vineyard Notes: The Walkers have been growing grapes in El Dorado County since the 1930’s. Their 220 acre property, sitting at 2100 ft of elevation, is planted to Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Barbera & Petite Sirah. The vineyard soil is a coarse loam with lots of sand.

Cellar Notes: 2 tons of grapes were destemmed to concrete egg for native fermentation. The wine was then pressed to neutral oak for a short aging. It was bottled in May 2024 unfiltered.

Tasting Notes: This is quite a lively wine! The aromatics are full of red fruit - pomegranate, raspberry - with a distinct floral & sandalwood edge. In the mouth it is brisk & playful, with raspberry, blood orange & mint.
