Vineyard Notes: Heringer, Clarksburg (Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec/Petite Sirah) / Cherryhouse, Lodi (Zinfandel) / Horse Ranch, Contra Costa County (Alicante Bouschet)

Cellar Notes: Though its exact composition changes from year to year, Sacteaux is always a  blend assembled from various vineyards surrounding Sacramento, put together with the aim to highlight some of our favorites from the vintage & to create a wine that is more than the sum of its parts.

Tasting Notes: Plums & black cherries lead the way aromatically, with light toast, baking spices & mocha following. The palate is more of the same fruit presence with the addition of black tea, eucalyptus & fine-grained tannins.
